The Antikythera Mechanism is a graphic-infused experimental narrative journey through snow covered alien desert landscapes, fractured forests, and imagined futuristic cities. Loosely based on the discovery of the actual Antikythera Mechanism (the oldest mechanical computer in existence - dating back to 150-100 BCE), the piece follows a character finding a mysterious object that acts as a catalyst to unfold reality and open up a series of worlds ranging from distorted natural vistas to stylized synthetic futurescapes. The music for the piece was composed by BT for his 2006 DVD album This Binary Universe.
